Paul Schmiedel

Paul Schmiedel serves as chief risk officer at UKG. In his role, Paul leads the enterprise risk organization, which includes a global team that works internally to assess risk, partner with business stakeholders to implement risk treatment plans, and deliver cross-functional services to manage resilience, third-party risk, and customer-facing compliance functions. The team also partners with the UKG sales and legal organizations to help prospective and existing UKG customers assess the risk of doing business with UKG. Paul has 30 years of industry experience and as held prior leadership roles — such as chief information security officer and chief compliance officer — that have provided him the balanced ability to help UKG manage risk effectively.
