At UKG, we are driving impact by supporting our global communities, providing relief during times of crisis, empowering U Krewers to volunteer, and establishing and expanding strategic partnerships and initiatives to create opportunity for all. These efforts help us work toward a world that cares for and empowers all people.
Global philanthropic support
Our giving is globally inclusive, supporting organizations and communities around the globe through financial contributions and donation-matching campaigns in times of crisis, and by inspiring and empowering our employees to take advantage of volunteer opportunities with paid time off for volunteering.
In 2024, UKG invested $5.3 Million
in philanthropic initiatives and other programs impacting our global communities. This included:
-
Health, Human services, Education, and Disaster relief$3.8 million in direct philanthropic commitment
This commitment supports critical causes benefiting more than 170 nonprofit organizations and helps facilitate the vital work they do every day to care for people across our global communities.
-
Financial support$1.5 million in additional financial support
These programs included social impact partnerships with organizations such as LeanIn.org, Reboot Representation, and the Close the Gap pay equity initiative.
Empower U
Empower U by UKG, creates opportunities for everyone in our ecosystem — students, partners, and communities — to tap into their unique abilities and go after their dreams. Our programs equip traditionally overlooked groups with the skills, support, and tools they need to succeed in their careers, uplift their communities, and positively impact those they serve. Two Empower U programs are fully funded through UKG philanthropy: the Human Capital Management Certification program and Global Solar Community Hubs.
Global volunteerism in action
Every year, U Krewers volunteer by serving people in their local communities ― from hands-on activities to skills-based programs and everything in between. To further support these selfless efforts, in 2023 UKG launched our Global Volunteer Time-Off Policy, giving all employees at least two days of paid time off per calendar year for volunteer activities, either in person or virtually, at organizations of their choosing. This volunteer time represents a potential total of more than 245,000 hours of global impact each year!
Each year, U Krewers from around the world celebrate Global Pay It Forward Day, a worldwide celebration of kindness that takes place annually on April 28, by participating in volunteer events or hosting donation drives to support organizations in their communities. U Krewers pack meals, paint and landscape homes, volunteer at schools, create toys, and participate in local community projects across our global footprint.
“I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible team of UKG volunteers who recently dedicated their time and effort to putting up the Christmas lights on our campus. Having worked with various volunteer groups over the years, I can confidently say that the UKG folks stand out as my absolute favorite. Their commitment to excellence and positive attitude significantly contributed to the project’s success.”
Delivering community support in times of crisis
The PeopleInspired Giving Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) that supports U Krewers by providing financial relief grants during times of crisis. The foundation has distributed more than three quarters of a million dollars in grants to U Krewers around the world since its founding in 2020.
Our UKG Pro Giving solution enables organizations to easily set up charitable campaigns and empower their employees to donate to philanthropic causes.
